Experience International Flamenco Day at Espacio Expoflamenco

Our Expoflamenco Space in Jerez has prepared a complete agenda to celebrate International Flamenco Day, with doors now open, so that you can join us in this universal celebration.

Program 16 Nov at Espacio Expoflamenco

12.30 – 13.30. Meeting with the painter Antonio Higuero Domínguez on the occasion of the exhibition of paintings currently on display in our gallery. As an illustration, his son, the guitarist Antonio Higuero Pazos , will play some guitar live.

18.30 – 19.00 hours. Open choreography with our flamenco dance teacher Margarita Flores . The dance to be performed at our headquarters on Diego Fernández Herrera Street will be the cut A los buenos días from the album Ya llegó la hora (The time has come) , by the artist Simón Román . The initial choreography will be published on our channels and social networks.

19.30 – 20.30 hours. Pre-order of the album Solidaridad by Juan Moneo 'el Torta' to buy it physically in our store on the day of its release, scheduled for December 8th. People who come to our space in person will have preference. As a complement to this purchase option, there will be a short lecture by José María Castaño . As the author of the recordings of that legendary recital, he will tell us all the details – with original audios – that gave rise to this 'solidarity outburst' by the thoroughbred from the Plazuela .
