Flamenco in the Classroom

Online course with proposals and dynamics to introduce flamenco in the classroom for all levels

The course will last from Tuesday, August 1 to Friday, August 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (6 hours), Non-face-to-face course , streaming virtual space and will be directed by Almudena Navarro, from the @flamencasfantasticas www.flamencasfantasticas.com project.

Date : Tuesday, August 1 to Friday, August 4, 2023.

Hours : 09:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (with break).

The course is freely accessible and is aimed at teachers and education professionals from any field and aims, in a dynamic and participatory way, to offer different proposals to introduce flamenco in the classroom from all levels, as well as a point of reflection and collaborative creation among the participants.

 

The promotional price of the course is €45 (-25% included), promotion valid until July 15 + gift courtesy of Expoflamenco, the normal price of the course after July 15 will be €60. It includes the delivery of materials and will be available online for later viewing for 3 months at no additional cost.

Program and contents:

tuesday august 1

The story as an educational resource for flamenco and for the classroom.

During this session, the teacher will introduce herself and talk about her influences and her own project "Flamencas Fantásticas", where she will detail the entire process for creating flamenco stories for the classroom.

Wednesday August 2

Flamenco through the game.

During this session, the teacher will offer different dynamics and strategies to introduce the beat and flamenco styles through popular and simple games that can be adapted to all educational levels.

Thursday August 3

Flamenco and learning environments/situations.

During this session, the teacher will develop the methodology of learning environments and situations, linking it to flamenco and showing different proposals that can be carried out using art as a base and inspiration.

friday august 4

Development and creation of proposals.

During this session, the teacher will ask the group to develop their own proposals, serving as a tutorial seminar where they can share, debate and present their practices.

For the development of the course, at least the number of 10 enrolled will be required. If it is suspended for this reason, those already registered will be notified well in advance, with a full refund of the amount paid.
