Professional Castanets Merino Model

This model was created under the guidance of Antonio Luis Merino, a graduate in Pedagogy, a Spanish Dance graduate, castanet teacher and creator of the project 'Castanets for health'. With this project he raises awareness of the therapeutic benefits that castanets offer to people suffering from illnesses such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, osteoarthritis and even anxiety or depression.

When designing this castanet we have taken into account the choice of material, very light weight, fine sound and shape. All these characteristics make playing them much easier, even for people with a very weak touch.

It is 100% handmade from beech wood in two shades: brown and beige. The felling of this type of wood is fully controlled and certified by organizations dedicated to this purpose, in this way we can ensure that you are buying an item that cares for the environment.

You should keep in mind that since they are made of natural wood, you may find that the castanets are not completely homogeneous and the grain pattern is different on each one.

These castanets are made without a spout and in a normal box. Regarding the case, it should be noted that it is handmade with leatherette, sheepskin and metal clasps.
