Our aim with this course is to study the different ways of marking the bulerías of Jerez both in singing and dancing. With this masterclass we join, as a prologue, the celebration in the city of its annual Fiesta de La Bulería.
Macarena de Jerez is currently one of the most valid representatives of the festive character of her land on stages around the world. In addition to her mastery of the rhythm, she has also gained experience through her participation in clubs and festivals since she was very young. Recently, during her visit to our Expoflamenco Space, we wrote about her as a singer and also a dancer, disciplines that she combines with a very outstanding artistic temperament.
On stage, Macarena de Jerez leaves no one indifferent. However, her career has been a sum of achievements in which no one has given her anything. Then, there is a training in singing that is much deeper than some believe. All this makes Macarena de Jerez a very complete artist as well as committed to her profession. During her visit to Espacio Expoflamenco she also spoke to us about her devotion, Lola Flores, whom she has honoured for many years with respect and admiration. Among her projects is the realization of her first solo album.
