When Seville was still a walled city, at the beginning of the 19th century, there were already dance academies, when flamenco did not yet exist. Silverio Franconetti was born in 1831, in Alfalfa, and as a child he lived in the atmosphere of the academies or bolero salons, where La Campanera, Petra Cámara and Manuela Perea La Nena dreamed of being artists, sometimes directed by José María Dardalla, the great Sevillian actor and theatre producer. The guided tour of the Alameda de Hércules will begin on Odreros Street, in the heart of Alfalfa, where Silverio was born, and from that square we will visit the streets and squares where the famous cafés cantantes were, such as Burrero and Silverio, and Bar Pinto. And we will end in the Alameda de Hércules taking streets such as Amor de Dios and Trajano. In the Alameda, we will learn what that place was like, the Mecca of art, in the 19th century and the middle of the 19th century.

Duration: 120 minutes.

Opening hours: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
