Castanets of Special Veined Granadillo

Like the rest of our castanets for teachers, this model also offers great comfort when playing them. Its light weight and elongated lug make it easy to use during long sessions. They are fully handcrafted.

These castanets are made from beech wood, which is dyed to achieve an appearance similar to that of Granadillo. The felling of this type of wood is fully controlled and certified by organizations dedicated to this purpose, so we can be sure that you are buying an item that cares for the environment. This type of wood gives the castanet a fine and harmonious sound that surprises its listeners. You should bear in mind that, as it is made from natural wood, you may find that the castanets are not completely homogeneous and the grain pattern is different in each one.

If you prefer, you can remove the peak from the top of the sound box, this modification only affects the aesthetics of the castanet. You can also customize your castanets by choosing the color of the laces and the special case that comes with the castanets. This is handcrafted with leatherette, sheepskin and metal clasps.
