The top of the sound box can be removed if desired. This modification does not affect the sound, but rather the aesthetics of the castanet. You can also customize them by selecting the color of the cords and the case that come with the castanets. Regarding the case, it should be noted that it is handmade with leatherette, sheepskin and metal clasps. This model is only made in a normal case.
