Gaspar Lockefeer, although everyone in the entertainment world knows him as Gaspar de Holanda, is a Spanish guitarist of Dutch descent living in Huelva (Spain). He is a guitar teacher and performer. He studied with Tomatito, Antonio Rey, Gerardo Núñez, José Antonio Rodríguez, Paco Peña and John Fillmore and teaches and performs around the world at guitar festivals and music schools.
Today he is one of the best-known guitarists in the province of Huelva and is a guitar teacher at the prestigious Liceo de la Música (Moguer).
He has composed music for film soundtracks, theater companies, and television commercials.
“Quejios” is his debut album as a solo guitarist and, as he himself comments, it could have been called “among friends”, because his idea has been to record his compositions and lyrics with the people who have regularly accompanied him in his life; In this way, his friends Jeromo Segura, Rafael de Utrera, José Méndez, Yolanda Sousa and his wife Virginia Gómez are singing, as well as a large cast of musicians, most of them from Huelva.

Gaspar de Holanda: «I have tried to sing with the guitar as if it were my vocal cords»
