Study of Camarón's singing, with the guitar of Paco de Lucía
This year, we mark the tenth anniversary of the passing of one of flamenco's most iconic icons, Paco de Lucia. To celebrate his legacy, we have prepared an in-depth study on the innovations and contributions to flamenco of José Monge Cruz, known artistically as Camarón de la Isla, in collaboration with the legendary guitarist Paco de Lucía.
Flamenco electric bass masterclass
The flamenco bass began to be part of flamenco thanks to Paco de Lucía, who saw the need to incorporate this string instrument and opened up that space for it. From its very beginning, the bass has been evolving and seeking its place within this music.
EmpowerART
The PotenciArte project proposes a task at a recreational, social and cultural level. The combination of these areas will result in the execution of a fruitful learning process. In this case, fun will be the fundamental vehicle to achieve the objectives. Flamenco is one of the most ancient and important contributions that Spain makes to the rest of the world. However, it is a cultural element that is very unknown even to members of the same country in terms of its origin, evolution and forms of expression and projection.
To school, with Fosforito
If you are a teacher and you want your students to learn about flamenco, join Expoflamenco this summer with our course “Al cole, con Fosforito”. Our collaborator Álvaro de la Fuente Espejo, with his original book “Fosforito, un genio de la música”, will explain in detail his fun and educational method for bringing flamenco closer to our little ones. Through the reading of a fascinating story, rhythm, singing, painting, oral expression and new technologies, you will learn that it is possible to teach flamenco to our boys and girls.
