'Back to school, with Fosforito' - Summer Course
If you are a teacher and you want your students to learn about flamenco art, join Expoflamenco this summer
With our course “Al cole, con Fosforito”. Our collaborator Álvaro de la Fuente Espejo, with his original book “Fosforito, un genio de la música”, will detail his fun and educational method to bring flamenco closer to our little ones. Through the reading of an exciting story, rhythm, singing, painting, oral expression and new technologies you will learn that it is possible to teach flamenco to our boys and girls. In addition, its author will provide you with a pdf with the content of the book, you will have access to all the audios, videos and appropriate methodological guidelines with fun situations of
learning. Álvaro will show you that it is possible, and necessary, to teach flamenco in our schools.
There are not many flamenco books for schoolchildren, despite the capital importance of introducing the little ones to the secrets of our art. And even less so when these are materialized in priceless works such as the book-record 'Fosforito, un genio de la música' (Saludos Flamencos, 2023) signed by Álvaro de la Fuente Espejo from Pontanés, a teacher of Musical Education at the CEIP José María Pemán de Puente Genil, a graduate in Musical Education from the Faculty of Educational Sciences in Malaga and a collaborator of our Expoflamenco website. "The girls and boys are discovering a life out of a movie," says the author, "while they become familiar with the flamenco repertoire, thanks to the sound examples included." In addition, due to his work as a teacher, Álvaro de la Fuente includes methodological guidelines for his fellow teachers. Without a doubt, a great tribute to the master and Golden Key of flamenco singing.
