The Seventh String

Daniel, an eight-year-old boy, walks with his mother down Calle Sierpes in Seville. Suddenly, a street guitarist plays a bulería for a foreign audience who applauds with enthusiasm. For Daniel, it is not just music that he hears, but the beginning of an adventure that will take him through all the styles of flamenco and meet the old masters who forged this complex art. A few years later, Daniel is a young man about to enroll in university and who is enjoying his youth. He has plans and a very promising future, just as his parents wish. But his life will change drastically. He will enroll in the conservatory to satisfy his need to express himself with the guitar, but it will not be enough. Perhaps Niño Luís, an elderly guitar master, will be able to show him the way to Flamenco and to life itself.
