Viscum Artisan Shawl

Handmade Artisan Shawl.

Color: Casserole

Material : Zelda wool from Borgo de' Pazzi. Montemurlo. This material is made in Italy by a Florentine group that dedicates its business to creating its own natural yarns, all hand-dyed, inspired by the colours of the Renaissance. The environmental impact of these yarns is close to zero, with natural fibres and a low presence of totally recycled synthetic fibres. All of its production processes are mechanical, not chemical.

Fabric: Two needles.

Material characteristics: Blend of 60% wool and 40% hemp, which give it a soft texture, similar to that of cotton, giving lightness to the resulting fabric.

Hand dyed yarn.

THE DESIGN:

From Beagle Knits. Triangular shawl measuring 114 x 32 cm maximum width, finished with two rounded peaks. The outer border is edged with small clusters of mistletoe. The interior is made up of alternating squares, patchwork style, made one by one. The finish is in the form of waves marked by the same squares.

LEGEND:

The Viscum Shawl design was first offered in the run-up to Christmas 2021, during the Advent period. In fact , the name Viscum given to the shawl refers to viscum album, better known as mistletoe, a representative plant of Christmas.

Tips: Machine wash at maximum 30º.

Dry horizontally, do not hang.

Supports gentle ironing.
