Thumbelina or Whistle

These miniature castanets were specially made at the request of the concert artist Olga Pericet. They are handcrafted from sheets of wood that have been impregnated with resin.

They are played with the thumbs in a clicking manner and have a very particular sound that makes them ideal for solo playing. They are usually used for regional dances and very special occasions.

These castanets are made in one size and with a normal box, but you can customize your thumbsticks according to your aesthetic preferences by selecting the color of the cords and the case that is included with the castanets.

Only manufactured in a regular box.
