SYNOPSIS
This text proposes an approach to dance teaching that encourages personal search and talent, rather than creating "step machines." Emphasizing the connection between body, language and emotion in the learning process and the expression of one's own.
The book is divided into three areas: body training, professionalization of action and reflection on both, understanding that to dance you also need to think, reflect in order to be able to create from there.
The aim is to contribute to the teaching of flamenco dance, recovering an original element of dance itself such as personal expression, and thus it is presented as a critique of the system that creates machines that repeat steps.
A body that dances , strips away all ties and prejudices from those who want to dance, allowing them to find their own freedom.
This book also proposes a didactics for teaching dance and is complementary to Bailar al cante, Apuntes para un baile flamenco and Habitar la Danza.
